Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By using the website woodcarpenterinteriors.com or engaging Wood Carpenter Interiors for any service, you agree to these Terms of Service. These terms govern the relationship between Wood Carpenter Interiors ("the Company") and its clients ("you").

2. Services

Wood Carpenter Interiors provides custom woodworking, modular kitchen design and installation, wardrobe systems, wood paneling, office interior fit-outs, and furniture restoration services. The scope of each project is defined in a written quotation accepted by both parties.

3. Quotations & Pricing

All quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. Prices are quoted in Pakistani Rupees (PKR) and are inclusive of materials, manufacturing labour, and standard installation unless otherwise stated. Quotations may change if client specifications change after issuance. All prices are exclusive of any sales tax or regulatory levies where applicable.

4. Payment Terms

Our standard payment schedule is:

• 40% deposit upon signing the project agreement (required to begin production)
• 40% at project mid-point (upon cabinet/furniture completion, before finishing)
• 20% upon final installation and client sign-off

Accepted payment methods: bank transfer (preferred), cash, crossed cheque. We do not accept credit cards at this time. Production does not begin until the deposit is cleared.

5. Design Changes & Variations

Minor design adjustments are accommodated at no charge during the design phase. Significant changes to scope, materials, or dimensions after production begins may result in additional charges and revised timelines. All variations must be agreed in writing before implementation.

6. Delivery & Installation

Delivery timelines are provided at the design stage. Timelines commence from the date the deposit is received and the design is signed off. Delays caused by client-requested design changes, inaccessible site, or force majeure events are not counted against the quoted timeline. We endeavour to deliver on schedule and communicate any anticipated delays promptly.

7. Warranty

All completed work carries a 5-year craftsmanship warranty covering structural joints, drawer mechanisms, hinges, and manufacturing defects in finish. The warranty does not cover:

• Normal wear and tear
• Damage caused by misuse, water exposure beyond the design specification, or impact
• Changes in wood colour or grain due to sun exposure (natural characteristic of timber)
• Work carried out by third parties on our installations

Warranty claims must be submitted via email or WhatsApp with photographic evidence. We aim to respond and schedule a site visit within 5 business days.

8. Cancellation Policy

Orders may be cancelled before production commences for a full refund of the deposit. Once production has begun, the deposit is non-refundable as materials and labour costs have been committed. Mid-project cancellation will be billed for work completed to date plus any material costs incurred.

9. Intellectual Property

All design drawings, 3D renders, and technical documents produced by Wood Carpenter Interiors remain our intellectual property until full payment is received. Upon final payment, the client receives a licence to use these documents for the purposes of their project. We reserve the right to photograph completed work and use images in our portfolio and marketing materials, with client identity protected.

10. Limitation of Liability

Wood Carpenter Interiors's total liability in connection with any project shall not exceed the total value of that project. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses arising from delays, design decisions, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Any disputes shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be referred to the courts of Islamabad Capital Territory.
